My spacious room came as a charming surprise, with just one cozy bunk bed, providing both comfort and privacy. The host, whose passion shines through every detail, treated us to mouthwatering local dishes that celebrated the vibrant flavors of the region. What struck me most was the inviting atmosphere, perfectly paired with opportunities to explore the stunning natural surroundings. From here, the climbing routes around Elm and the scenic paths leading to Mettmen Alp beckon adventure seekers like me. Whether you're a hiker, biker, or simply a nature lover, this place captures the essence of Swiss outdoor spirit. With the right mix of camaraderie and solitude, I left feeling invigorated and ready for the next leg of my journey. If you're looking for an authentic and memorable stay, Aktivhostel Haengematt's care and charm will definitely exceed your expectations.
